In an era where specialization often defines entrepreneurial success, Imran Imtiyaz has taken a contrarian path building a diversified, cross-border business portfolio spanning real estate, industrial infrastructure, marketing, and global trade. With more than 16 years of experience across the United Arab Emirates, India, and the United States, Imtiyaz represents a growing class of global entrepreneurs leveraging multi-sector integration as a competitive advantage.

Early Foundations in Bangalore

Born on November 22, 1985, in India, Imtiyaz’s early years were shaped in Bangalore, one of the country’s leading business and technology hubs. He completed his schooling at St. John’s High School before pursuing pre-university education at Cathedral College. He later earned a Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) from CMR College in 2006 an academic foundation that would underpin his entry into entrepreneurship the same year.

Real Estate: The Launchpad

Imtiyaz began his business journey in real estate, founding Global Ventures India & Co. and Global Estates & Properties in 2006. These ventures focused on commercial property development, land banking, and long-term real estate investment strategies.

His early work involved land acquisition, development planning, and investor partnerships key capabilities that allowed him to scale operations and establish a foothold in competitive markets. Industry observers note that his ability to identify undervalued assets and align them with long-term growth trends played a central role in his early success.

Expanding Into Industrial Infrastructure

In 2024, Imtiyaz diversified into industrial infrastructure with the launch of Planet Racking & Steel. The company specializes in warehouse storage systems, including pallet racking, mezzanine flooring, and customized industrial storage solutions services increasingly in demand amid the global logistics boom.

Parallel to this, he founded Meta Tech Metal Industry, a UAE-based enterprise focused on stainless steel and architectural metal applications. The company delivers advanced services such as PVD coatings and liquid metal finishes, adhering to international standards including ASTM, EN, JIS, and DIN.

This move signals a strategic alignment with infrastructure development trends across the Middle East, where demand for high-quality industrial and architectural materials continues to grow.

Marketing, Branding, and Digital Strategy

Recognizing the increasing convergence of business and digital presence, Imtiyaz entered the marketing and branding space with the launch of The Flick Studio in 2024. The agency offers services ranging from brand identity development to performance marketing and website design.

He also co-founded Celestine Events, which focuses on corporate events, exhibitions, and experiential branding—an area that has rebounded strongly post-pandemic.

In the United States, Imtiyaz established Connection Digital Ventures, a platform centered on email marketing and business communication solutions. The venture reflects a broader shift toward data-driven marketing and customer engagement technologies.

Trading and Distribution Experience

Between 2021 and 2024, Imtiyaz was also active in trading and distribution, operating businesses such as Arif General Trading LLC and Barasti General Trading LLC. These ventures provided exposure to supply chain dynamics, international trade, and market expansion strategies experience that complements his broader business ecosystem.

A Diversified Business Philosophy

Imtiyaz’s approach stands out for its emphasis on diversification and integration. Rather than building a single-industry enterprise, he has created a network of businesses that intersect across sectors real estate feeding into infrastructure, infrastructure supporting logistics, and marketing amplifying brand presence across all verticals.

This multi-sector model reflects a broader entrepreneurial trend: building interconnected businesses that reduce dependency on a single revenue stream while enabling cross-functional growth.

Looking Ahead

As global markets continue to evolve, entrepreneurs like Imran Imtiyaz are positioning themselves at the intersection of industries. His expansion into infrastructure, combined with digital and branding capabilities, suggests a long-term strategy focused on scalability and resilience.

While many founders aim to dominate a niche, Imtiyaz’s trajectory highlights a different playbook one rooted in diversification, geographic expansion, and strategic alignment with emerging economic trends.
